How to use the information dial

The "Information Dial" is a service that informs you of [1] confirmation of reservation preparation status, [2] confirmation of lending status, and [3] application for loan extension by telephone.
Available 24 hours a day.

• The Phone number of this service is 045-262-0040.
• When using, please prepare your user number (library card) at hand.

Dial 045-262-0040. (Please enter according to the voice guidance below.)

1.Enter the number of the menu you want to use.

2.Enter the 10-digit user number (library card number).

3.Enter the last four digits of the registered Phone number.

Please follow the steps below for each service.

Information on the number of books for which reservations have been made, the status of preparation, and the deadline for receipt.

1.Enter your reservation confirmation service number "10".

2.Enter the 10-digit user number (library card number).

3.Enter the last four digits of the registered Phone number.

4.We will provide detailed information such as the name of the book that is available.

　"Number of books", "Number of books prepared", "Date of book prepared", "Deadline of receipt", "Requested library"

Information on the number of books borrowed, the title, and the return deadline.

1.Enter the loan status confirmation service number "20".

2.Enter the 10-digit user number (library card number).

3.Enter the last four digits of the registered Phone number.

4.Detailed information such as the name of the book to be borrowed.

“Number of books to be borrowed”, “Bar code number”, “Lended book name”, “Return Date”

The return deadline for the borrowed book can be extended only once without the next reservation.
All books can be extended at once, or you can specify books and extend them individually.

1.Enter the loan extension application service number "30".

2.Enter the 10-digit user number (library card number).

3.Enter the last four digits of the registered Phone number.

4.We will show you the number of books to be borrowed and the number of books that can be extended.

5.Enter "5" to extend all, and enter "3" if you want to extend some materials.

6.(If all are extended) We will guide you to the books that have accepted the extension.

※(If partially extended) Enter the barcode number of the book you want to extend. We will inform you of the books that have been extended.

This service cannot be used when calling or registering with Phone number.
If you change the Phone number, please send it to City Library.
Due to regular maintenance of the system, the service is not available every Tuesday and Friday from 4:30 am to 5 am.
