In Yokohama City, for corporations considering the establishment of daycare centers for children with disabilities (limited to elementary school studenｔ Development Support or after-school day service (elderly day care)) to deepen their understanding of the business.
A corporation that intends to receive the designation of a business establishment (including a corporate change) or intends to add credits are required to participate. In addition, if you are going to receive more than one designation, participation is mandatory for each establishment or unit. However, in the case of receiving designation as a multifunctional establishment or when the capacity is added, it will be treated as one establishment or one unit.

For corporations considering the establishment of daycare centers for children with disabilities (limited to elementary school studenｔ Development Support or after-school day service (elderly day care)), etc., to deepen the understanding of the business, a briefing session for designated preschool children with disabilities (hereinafter referred to as "pre-designated briefing session").
During the period from June 2024 to August 2024 in Yokohama City, companies considering opening a tsusho support establishment for children with disabilities should participate in the pre-designated briefing session.
In addition, from the viewpoint of preventing the spread of COVID-19, the necessary procedures will differ depending on the status of business implementation of the corporation seeking to be designated.

The application deadline is until 17:00 on Friday, April 5, 2024.

Pre-designated briefings are usually held in April, July, and December. When holding the briefing session, news will be posted on the disability welfare information service Kanagawa (outside site) about one month before, please apply according to the news.
This briefing session explains the points and important matters for users to use safely and securely.
Consultations at the start of the business are based on participation in this briefing, but in exceptional cases, if you have any questions about the property or equipment, we accept consultations before the briefing. In that case, please make a reservation by telephone in advance and come to the agency.

We will ask you about the management policy of the establishment, timing and place of establishment, securing human resources, funding status, etc.
If you are not ready, set a schedule again from the following month.

Interviews will be held with managers and elementary school studenｔ Development Support Managers. In addition, check the designated application form.
About designated application, it is published in "news from Yokohama-shi" (outside site) of "disability welfare information service Kanagawa". Please check the contents before creating it.
After the interview, please submit the designated application by the 15th of the month before the designated month. (However, if the day is a Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, it will be brought forward on the most recent weekday.

In addition, Yokohama City has established its own requirements as follows to have you conduct business safely.

• When setting up an office in the basement
• When setting up a business office in a property with no windows
• When setting up a business office on a high-rise floor (5th floor or higher)
• When the toilet is installed outside the office (in the case of a shared toilet)
• When installing within a radius of 200 meters from the customs business stipulated in the Act on Regulations on Customs Sales and Optimization of Business

• Install toilets for men and women
• Securing a recreation room (space) and an interview room (space)
• The office name must not be similar to other daycare centers for children with disabilities in Yokohama.
• Installing a library with keys

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has established guidelines for the after-school day service (elderly day care), but Yokohama City has established the Yokohama City version of the after-school day service (elderly day care), which is based on national guidelines, citing actual conditions and actual examples of Yokohama City.
