In Yokohama City, in order to deepen the understanding of the business, we hold briefing sessions for designated pre-disordered children's centers for children with disabilities (limited to elementary school studenｔ Development Support or day service (elderly day care) after school).
Participation is mandatory for corporations that are going to receive the designation of a business establishment (including corporate changes) or want to add credits. In addition, when we are going to receive more than one designation, participation is mandatory for each establishment or unit. However, if you intend to receive designation as a multi-functional establishment or add up the capacity, it will be treated as one establishment or one unit.

In order to deepen the understanding of the business, we will hold a briefing session for designated pre-disordered children's centers for children with disabilities (limited to elementary school studenｔ Development Support or day service (elderly day care) after school, etc.).
In the period from February 2025 to May 2025 in Yokohama City, businesses considering opening a daycare center for children with disabilities should participate in the pre-designated briefing.
In addition, from the viewpoint of preventing the spread of COVID-19, the necessary procedures etc. will differ depending on the status of business implementation of the corporation seeking designation, etc.

Pre-designated briefings are usually held in April, July, and December. In holding the briefing, a notice will be posted on the disability welfare information service Kanagawa (outside site) about one month ago, so please apply according to the notice.
In this briefing session, we explain points and important matters for users to use safely and safely.
In principle, consultations at the start of the business are based on participation in this briefing session, but exceptionally, if you have any questions about properties or equipment, we accept consultations before the briefing. In that case, please make a reservation in advance by telephone and come to the agency.

We will ask you about the management policy of the business establishment, opening time and place, securing human resources, funding status, etc.
If you are not ready, set a new schedule for the next month or later.

Interviews will be conducted with administrators and elementary school studenｔ Development Support Managers. In addition, we confirm designated application.
About designated application, it is published in "news from Yokohama-shi" (outside site) of "disability welfare information service Kanagawa". Please check the contents and create it.
After the interview, please submit the designated application form by the 15th of the previous month. (However, if the day is a weekend, holiday, it will be moved forward on the latest weekday.

In addition, Yokohama City has established its own requirements as follows to ensure safe business operations.

• When establishing an office underground
• When setting up a business office in a property without windows
• When setting up a business office on a higher floor (5th floor or higher)
• When a toilet is installed outside the office (in the case of a shared toilet)
• When installed within a radius of 200 meters from customs business stipulated in the Act on Regulations on Customs Business and Optimization of Business

• To install toilets for men and women
• Securing recreation rooms (spaces) and interview rooms (spaces)
• The name of the office must not be similar to other daycare centers for children with disabilities in Yokohama City
• Installing a key storage
