2024 Yokohama City "Inter-school day service (elderly day care) mainly for children with severe physical and mental disabilities"

We carry out supporting business with introduction of welfare vehicle for the purpose of expanding tsusho destinations such as after school such as severely handicapped children.

Subjects of assistance

Corporations that fall under both 1 and 2 below are eligible. This is not applicable if any of these are not applicable.

  1. Corporations that have been designated by Yokohama City as "day service (elderly day care) for after-school children with severe physical and mental disabilities" or corporations scheduled to receive by March 1, 2025 (general after-school day service (elderly day care) and elementary school student development support is not applicable.)
  2. A corporation that has a track record of operating any of the following businesses for more than 6 months as of the date of grant.
  • Among the support programs for daycare centers for children with disabilities stipulated in the Child Welfare Law, "day service (elderly day care) after school, mainly for children with severe physical and mental disabilities."
  • clinics, a hospital stipulated in the Medical Law (Act No. 205 of 1948)
  • Home-visit nursing care providers stipulated in the employee health insurance Act (Act No. 70 of 1922)
  • Medical-type disability entrance facilities prescribed in the Child Welfare Law (Act No. 164 of 1947)
  • Rehabilitation and nursing care prescribed in the Act (2005 Law No. 123) for Comprehensive Support of Daily and Social Life of Disabled Persons
  • Nursing care center nursing care prescribed in the Nursing Care Insurance Law (Act No. 123 of 1997)

※Regarding the operation results, the operation results outside Yokohama City are also included, but the operating results of multiple establishments are not counted.

Covered expenses

The following purchase costs, etc. introduced for the purpose of using the transfer of elementary school student.

  1. Purchasing costs for welfare vehicles
  2. Costs for remodeling to welfare vehicles

(Only the welfare vehicle itself and the remodeling cost itself are eligible, excluding consumption tax, various expenses, and accessories.)
※Please note that if you receive other public grants, you will not be eligible for this subsidy.
※Pre-registration is required before purchase. Please note that purchase costs, etc. incurred before submitting the subsidy grant application are not eligible for assistance.

※The number of times this subsidy can be received per business establishment is limited to one time.
※The maximum limit is one vehicle per application.
※If the number of employees of business establishments increases due to the addition of units, the target establishments that have already been granted may be able to receive the grant again.
※It becomes sum that the mayor decides within the range of Motoichi budget.
※If there is a fraction of less than 1,000 yen, it will be rounded down.

Other precautions

  • Subsidized companies need to manage the property acquired by the supporting business with the attention of a good manager even after the completion of the supporting business.
  • The period required to eliminate the restriction on the disposal of property is four years. If the business is abolished or the vehicle is transferred within four years, in principle, the subsidy must be returned.
  • If you apply before the designation of a business establishment, you can apply two months before the scheduled date of the new designation and after the business start is specifically decided. When you apply for assistance before designation, please talk with this section beforehand. (Scheduled on September 1: Subsidy application can be made from July 1.)

Submission deadline

Must arrive by Friday, January 31, 2025 (strict strict adherence)


※Please submit a set of application documents by mail. At that time, please write "Application for gravity release day subsidy application" on the envelope surface.
※If the budget reaches the upper limit, it will end even before the submission deadline.
