Primary Examination (for examinees)

Thesis examination (secondary examination) will be conducted on the same day. Those who are exempt from the primary examination also need to take the exam.

※Please check your admission ticket for your own test site, exam classroom, meeting time, etc.
※The test end time may be delayed due to the progress of the test and delays in public transportation.
　If you are booking a return Shinkansen or airplane, please take sufficient time.
※Please do not contact the school at the test site directly.

• Examination Voucher
• Glue
• Black ballpoint pen, HP pencil or mechanical pencil, eraser, ruler (※ ruler is only for candidates for special selection 1.2, 4 examinees)
• Watch　※Clocks such as mobile phones and smart watches are not allowed.
• Slippers and shoe bag　※Candidates whose test venue is Kanazawa High School

• ID photo (one piece cut into 4cm x 3cm)

　　　　　　Front facing, upper body, hat off, no background, color, black and white, taken after April 1, 2024
　　　　　　Please write your name and examination number (listed on the admission ticket) on the back and bring it with you.
　　　　　　Please bring it separately from the one that is attached to the interview card.

• Interview card (1 original copy, 2 copies)

　　　　　　Please download and create the interview card form.
　　　　　　In addition, please attach the same ID photo as you bring on the first examination day.

• Documents that can confirm additional qualifications (certificate of license, certificate of expected license acquisition, certificate issued by each qualification test organization, etc.)

　　　　　Please bring only those who have applied for "additional points by specific qualifications (10 pages of examination guide (PDF: 1,397KB)" Please bring it.

The results of the first examination (the number of successful applicants, status and selection criteria) and guidance on the implementation of the second examination (test date, meeting time, test site, belongings, etc.) will be posted on the City of Yokohama, Board of Education Secretariat website.
About notice of the first examination result (personal pass / fail result and score), we notify in Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system. If you would like to notify us, please apply within the period from the link below.
In addition, we will not respond to inquiries about pass / fail by telephone.

Application deadline: From Wednesday, June 12 to Friday, July 12. 　※If you do not apply, you will not be notified.
