Internet (online test)
※Details such as the deadline will be announced on the admission ticket issued from mid-June to late June. Test results will be used as supplementary materials for individual interviews (second test).
※If the inspection is not completed by the deadline, you will be disqualified.

Primary Examination

※Details of the test venue, meeting time, etc. will be announced on the admission ticket issued from mid-June to late June.

Test date

Sunday, July 7, 2024
Thesis examination (secondary examination) will be conducted on the same day. Those who are exempt from the primary examination also need to take the exam.

Test site

Yokohama venue (Yokohama city)

Applicable to all examination categories and selection categories

Osaka Venue (Yamato University Osaka Suita Campus 2-5-1 Katayamacho, Suita City, Osaka Prefecture)

Category to be implemented:
General selection of elementary schools, junior high schools and high schools (technology, home), and special needs schools
Those who have passed the screening of documents 3 or 8 of the Special Selection for all examination categories (take thesis examination only for thesis examination)
Capacity and application method:
Approximately 500 people (first-come-first-served basis)

※If you wish, please select "Osaka Venue" at the time of application.
※If the capacity is exceeded, we may guide you to take the exam at the Yokohama venue. (The examination site will be announced when the admission ticket is issued.)
※The second test site will be located in Yokohama City.

Please be sure to check "About what you bring on the first exam day".

※Front facing, upper body, hat off, no background, color, black and white, taken after April 1, 2024
On the back, please write your name and examination number (listed on the admission ticket issued from mid-June to late June) and bring it.
Please bring it separately from the one that is attached to the interview card.

Second Examination

Test Date and Test Venue

From early August to mid-September 2024, it will be held on the day specified when the first test was announced. Details such as schedules for each examination category will be announced on the website after mid-June.
The test venues are all located in Yokohama.

Test contents

About 18 minutes of mock class

Based on the theme presented on the day, 5 minutes of class setting.
Class 10 minutes
3 minutes of Q&A session on the class held

※Nursing teachers provide mock correspondence (scene guidance) instead of mock classes.

Individual interview about 30 minutes

During the interview, a simulated response (scenery guidance) will be conducted for about 2 minutes (excluding school nurses).

45 minutes of thesis examination (conducted on the first examination day)

※The theme and number of characters will be presented on the day.

You can look at the music score and play. The score and alto recorder must be prepared by the test taker. ３．Solo or solo singing by any instrument (performance by metrics) Choose any song and sing solo or solo. When selecting a piano instrument for playing, use the one installed at the test site. If you choose anything other than piano, the examinee must prepare the following items that can be brought to the test site. [Japanese instruments, wind instruments (excluding recorders), stringed instruments (including guitars and erhu), percussion instruments, accordion] Instruments cannot be brought into the test site on the day or in advance by private car. Songs of about 2 to 3 minutes (a part of the song may be excerpted). In addition, even for songs that have accompaniment to the original song, the test will be conducted without accompaniment. Please bring 3 copies of the music to be used on the day of the event. Electronic instruments cannot be used. ※Both singing, recorder performance, and stats may be performed halfway due to time constraints.
	Art	Production of plane and three-dimensional works assuming class Plane work: Expressing on drawing paper, etc. (Please prepare your own art materials such as watercolor paint and acrylic paint by yourself.) Three-dimensional works: Expression using a given material such as paper clay.
