On this page, we will inform you about the recruitment procedure and the events up to recruitment.

  • In fiscal 2025, we opened a page exclusively for candidates for recruitment. (October 11)


Documents to be sent

As of October 11, 2024 (notice of passing, etc.)

On October 11, 2024, a letter of acceptance (recruitment notice) and the following documents were sent.
There are documents that require procedures to related organizations. Please prepare as soon as possible, as the procedure may take some time.
For some documents, the deadline for procedures to related organizations is Monday, October 28, so please prepare them as soon as possible.

Documents to be submitted

Electronic application

Please apply for new recruitment teacher self-report from "Yokohama-shi electronic application, report system (outside site)".
Before applying, be sure to check the "Electronic Application Usage (PDF: 970KB)" and register as a user before starting.



Pre-employment program

We will implement a pre-employment program so that you can resolve any concerns, concerns, or doubts about becoming a teacher in Yokohama City.

Report on the place of residence, etc.

Target person

  • Those who have been submitted with "Undecided" in the place of residence on the "Recruitment Candidate Card"
  • Those who have changed the place of residence described after submitting the "Recruitment Candidate Card"
  • Those who have changed the contact information listed after submitting the "Recruitment Candidate Card"


Notes

  • If there is a change in your place of residence due to personnel assignments, please report by the end of January. If you contact us after February, we may not be able to reflect your personnel assignments.
    However, please note that even if you contact us, you will not necessarily be assigned to a school near your place of residence.
  • This notice will not be reflected in the mailing address of the "Envelope for Notification of Time". If you move after submitting the “Envelope for Notification of Time Notification”, be sure to submit the “Envelope” at the post office.Relocation and Transfer Service (External Site)Please follow the procedure for forwarding the mail.

If your planned residence is in Yokohama City, please check the elementary and junior high school commuting areas on the "School Area System for Elementary and Junior High Schools" page. (Applicable to all members regardless of the examination category)

Precautions when making inquiries by phone

First, please tell us your "Name", "Examination Number" and "Recruitment Candidate".

There are many phone calls in Board of Education Secretariat. In order to respond smoothly to inquiries, "This is XX scheduled to be adopted in April. The examination number is 00. "It's XX of the candidate for recruitment. The examination number is 0. Please tell us your name, examination number, and that you are a candidate for recruitment, and then tell us the details of your inquiry.

We do not respond to inquiries from anyone other than the candidate for recruitment so that there is no mistake or misunderstanding in contact.
If you have any questions about the procedure, etc., please contact the recruitment candidate yourself.
Inquiries can be handled from 8:45 to 17:15 on weekdays (lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00).

After the announcement of the pass, there are many calls to Board of Education Secretariat, which may be difficult to connect.
In addition, the contact information varies depending on the content, so please read and confirm the materials again, and then call each of the following inquiries.

Be sure to mail it by simple registered mail so that you can check if you have received the documents submitted by mail.
In particular, since the arrival of mail is concentrated before and after the submission deadline, we cannot respond to individual inquiries about whether mail has arrived.
