Concept of bus transfer requirements

Whether the point is "easy to pick up and drop off by bus"

Regarding the requirements for bus pick-up at auxiliary facilities, "It is not easy to pick up and drop off the target elementary school studenｔ using a bus or other means, such as being unable to reach the nearest bus stop at home to the nearest bus stop of the auxiliary facility. If you can reach the bus stop near your home to the bus stop of the auxiliary facility in a relatively short time without transferring, and if there are enough bus flights, it is easy to pick up and drop off using a bus etc. So, I would like you to use buses by all means.

Confirmation method

Check how much the total time required.

Check how many minutes the total time required from the time you leave your home to the measurement and arrive at the auxiliary facility using the bus. If the total travel time exceeds approximately 20 minutes, it is considered that it is not easy to pick up and drop off by bus etc. (meeting the requirements).
The total travel time does not include the time to wait for the bus (this will be explained in the following item).

Check how much the bus interval is.

Check the bus driving interval between the bus during the transfer and pick-up time.
Regarding the driving interval, we will adopt the one with the longer driving interval at each bus stop at the nearest bus stop at home and the auxiliary facility.
If this driving interval and the total travel time confirmed in the previous item exceeds 30 minutes, it is considered that it is not easy to pick up and drop off by bus etc. (the requirements are met).

How to check the total travel time on GoogleMap

We will introduce how to check the total travel time on Google Map. (Please note that the bus driving interval cannot be checked by this method, so please check the timetable of each bus stop from the website of each bus company.) .
Here, as an example, departing from the Yokohama Tram Preservation Museum (3-1-53 Takigami, Isogo-ku, Yokohama-shi) and arriving at Negishi Station (16 Higashi-cho, Isogo-ku, Yokohama-shi) at 8:00 in the morning. I will explain.

Open Google Map and press the white arrow mark on the blue background near the search window on the upper left.
Press the "Train" mark above the input frame of the departure point.
At the departure point, enter the Address of the Yokohama Tram Preservation Museum (3-1-53 Takigami, Isogo-ku, Yokohama).
For the destination, enter Address at Negishi Station (16 Higashimachi, Isogo-ku, Yokohama).
Press the "Departure immediately ▼" mark under the destination input slot.
Select "Arrived Time" from the candidates displayed in the pull-down.
Click the time next to the clock mark and select "8:00" from the list displayed in the pull-down menu.
Click the "magnifying glasses" mark displayed when clicking the destination input frame.
Candidates for the route are displayed below the input frame. Of the displayed routes, the route closest to the set arrival time are displayed as "13 minutes". Since this time is not far from the time (17 minutes, 15 minutes, 12 minutes) displayed on other routes, it will be regarded as the total travel time. The total travel time is 13 minutes.
If you press the "Details" button on the route displayed as 13 minutes, the details of the route will be displayed, and you can check the distance to the nearest bus stop and the number of transfers.
