If you cannot use a nursery school and are on hold for a 1.2-year-old child, if you use a small-scale childcare business that allows you to enter a distance from your home, we will assist you with the cost of securing a parking lot. The application will be closed as soon as the budget limit is reached.

Overview

When one with a 1.2-year-old child uses a small-scale childcare business that can enter a distance from home, we will assist the cost of securing a parking lot.
※For small-scale childcare businesses that can enter, please refer to the list of acceptable numbers below.

Requirements for assistance

For 1.2-year-olds who cannot enter the desired nursery school and are on hold, etc.

  1. About 2 km or more from home
  2. It is not easy to get through because it is necessary to change trains by bus etc.
  3. When applying for a new small-scale childcare business that can be accepted at the time of submission of the plan and admission is decided.

Those who can submit a pre-plan to receive assistance

Those who are certified parents of children who are unable to enter the desired nursery school in the 1-year-old class or 2-year-old class and are on hold
※In addition, the guardian of the child must have a resident registration in Yokohama City and actually live in Address.

Amount of subsidy

Up to 25,000 yen per month per applicant (certified guardian) (Yokohama City will bear the full amount)

List of Acceptable Numbers

Reference: Age class and date of birth in FY2024
  • 1 year olds: From April 2, 2021 to April 1, 2022 (Reiwa 5)
  • 2-year-olds: From April 2, 2020 to April 1, 2021 (Reiwa 4)

About subsidy application

Step 1 Submission of advance plan

In order to apply for a subsidy grant, an additional application for a small-scale childcare business that is not listed in the reservation letter and meets the requirements (hereinafter referred to as "subsidized facilities") is required.
At the same time as the additional application, please submit the advance plan (first style) (PDF: 142KB) to your ward office Children and Families Support Division.
The submitted advance plan will be reviewed to determine whether it meets the requirements for assistance or within the budget, and will be approved. The results will be announced by the Child and Youth Bureau Childcare Measures Section in advance plan (change) confirmation letter (second style) or prior plan (change) disapproval letter (third style).
In addition, when you change contents of prior plan (addition of supporting use facilities), please submit prior plan change notice (fourth style) (PDF: 167KB) to ward office Children and Families Support Division where you live.
※The expiration date of the approved advance plan is until the end of the application year. But it is not this limit when we enter facility targeted for assistance.

Step 2 After deciding to enter a subsidized facility, submit a subsidy grant application

Receive the prior plan (change) confirmation letter (second style) and submit the subsidy grant application (fifth style) (PDF: 110KB) and use plan (sixth style) (sixth style) (PDF: 171KB) to the Child and Youth Bureau Childcare Measures Section.
※Please submit before the start of use of facilities targeted for assistance.
About grant of subsidy, we will tell in notice of grant decision (seventh style) or notice of non-grant decision (the eighth style).
If there is any change in the application after the decision of assistance, please submit the withdrawal and change application form (No. 9 style) (PDF: 107KB) with required documents and submit it to the Child and Youth Bureau Childcare Measures Section.

Step 3 Submission of performance reports and invoices

Submit the results report (No. 12 style) (PDF: 109KB) and receipts pertaining to the subsidized expenses to the Child and Youth Bureau Childcare Measures Section within 14 days from the end of the use of the subsidized facilities or the end of the year. Please give me.
We will tell about subsidy confirmation amount in subsidy grant amount confirmation letter of advice (the thirteenth style).
After receipt, please submit bill (No. 14 style) (PDF: 108KB). (It will be transferred to your designated account within 30 days after confirming the invoice.)
If you receive a subsidy before the end of the project, you need to report on the progress of the results on a monthly basis. Please submit invoice (No. 14 style) (PDF: 108KB) to Child and Youth Bureau Childcare Measures Section, such as results progress report (No. 15 style) (PDF: 113KB) and receipts pertaining to subsidized expenses.

Are non-licensed childcare facilities eligible?
A

Non-licensed childcare facilities are not eligible for this project.
Only small childcare businesses that can be accepted at the time of application are eligible.
Please refer to the "List of Acceptable Numbers" for specific target facilities.

If you are already attending a small childcare business, are you eligible?
A

Only those who are on hold are eligible, so they are not eligible if you have already attended a small-scale childcare business or have already decided to use the small-scale childcare business before submitting the prior plan.
If you are on hold and wish to use this business, please submit a prior plan and notice of suspension when applying for a new small-scale childcare business.

If multiple usage plans are submitted that are not within the budget, how will approval be decided? First come, first served?

We decide priority using rank about use adjustment such as nursery schools and use adjustment index. (Article 9)

I want to use the parking lot cost subsidy from the age of 1. Can I continue to use it even if I turn 2?
A

If you continue to use the same facility, you can continue to use it. (Article 4, Paragraph 3 of the Outline)
However, if you no longer meet the requirements due to relocation or relocation, you will not be eligible for assistance.
※The next fiscal year's budget will be voted on in Yokohama City Council.

Do I have to contract a monthly parking lot to use parking lot assistance? Please tell me about the expenses that are eligible for assistance.

In addition to the monthly parking lot rent, the usage fee of the hourly parking lot is covered.
On the other hand, expenses required for parking lots such as security deposit and key money, gasoline charges, car repair and maintenance costs, and non-life insurance premiums are not covered.
