[Taxi pick-up support project to nursery schools, etc.] How to check the requirements for bus transfer

About taxi pick-up support business to nursery schools, here we explain how to confirm whether small-scale childcare business (subsidized use facility) targeted for assistance meets "requirements of bus pick-up".

Last Updated January 26, 2024

Please be sure to check by yourself before submitting the advance plan.

Concept of requirements for bus transfer

The point is whether it is easy to pick up and drop off by bus, etc.

Regarding the requirements for bus transfer at auxiliary facilities, "It is not easy to pick up and drop off the target elementary school student using buses, etc., because it is not possible to reach the nearest bus stop of the auxiliary facilities without changing trains." If you can reach the bus stop of the auxiliary facility in a relatively short time without changing from the bus stop near your home, and if there are enough bus flights, it is considered easy to pick up and drop off using a bus etc. So, by all means, I would like you to use buses etc.

Confirmation method

Check the total time required.

From the time you leave your home, start measuring, and check the total time required to arrive at the auxiliary facility by bus. If the total travel time exceeds approximately 20 minutes, it is considered that it is not easy to pick up and drop off by bus (meeting the requirements).
Please note that the total travel time does not include the time to wait for the bus (this is explained in the following items).

Check how much bus operation interval is.

Check how much bus operation interval is during the pick-up and pick-up time.
Regarding the driving interval, we will adopt the one with a long driving interval at each bus stop near the nearest and auxiliary facilities at home.
If it exceeds 30 minutes by adding this operation interval and the total travel time confirmed in the previous item, it is considered that it is not easy to pick up and drop off by bus etc. (meeting the requirements).

Flowchart

Introduction of an example of how to check

How to check the total time required on GoogleMap

We will introduce how to check the total travel time on Google Map (Note that the bus driving interval cannot be checked by this method, so please check the timetable of each bus stop from the homepage of each bus company) .
Here, as an example, depart from the Yokohama Tram Preservation Museum (3-1-53 Takigami, Isoko-ku, Yokohama-shi) and arrive at Negishi Station (16 Higashimachi, Isoko-ku, Yokohama-shi) at 8:00 in the morning. I will explain the flow of search.

  1. Open Google Map and press the white arrow mark on the blue background near the search window in the upper left.

  8. Press the "Insect Glasses" mark displayed when you click on the destination input frame.
  9. A candidate for the route is displayed below the input frame. Of the displayed routes, the route closest to the set arrival time is displayed as "13 minutes". This time is not far apart from the time displayed on other routes (17 minutes, 15 minutes, 12 minutes), so we will consider it as the total time required. The total travel time will be 13 minutes.
  10. Press the "Details" button of the route displayed as 13 minutes to display the details of the route, and you can check the distance to the nearest bus stop and the number of transfers.
