What is temporary childcare?
Overview
Temporary childcare is a system that takes care of elementary school studenｔ to reduce the burden on parents, such as when it becomes temporarily difficult to take care of children at home due to work, illness, hospitalization, etc., or when they want to refresh themselves.

Target elementary school studenｔ / Temporary Childcare (Use)
Preschool children who are not enrolled in licensed nursery schools (including Yokohama nursery rooms, small-scale childcare business, in-house childcare business (for benefits), home-based childcare business, and nursery school part of certified child institution)
※Depending on the number of users, usage may be restricted.
※About use except Yokohama citizen, please refer to facility directly as it depends on each facility about usage fee and acceptance or acceptance possibility.

About implementation facility
We carry out in authorized nursery school in the city, kindergarten cooperation type authorization child institution, small-scale childcare business, some facilities of home-based childcare business.

About parental burden
（１） Usage fees
Parents are required to pay the usage fee set by each nursery school for each use day.
Please pay to the nursery school when you leave elementary school studenｔ.
In addition, in addition to the usage fee, actual expenses such as food expenses may be required. For more information, please contact each nursery school.

※The usage fee is collected in 30-minute units, and rounded up to the nearest 10 yen.

Fees outside the implementation hours are set by the facility regardless of the upper limit of Yokohama City.
※In the case of elementary school studenｔ living outside the city, the facility is freely set regardless of the above upper limit. Please check directly with the facility if you want to use it.
（２） About reduction of taxes system
If you live in Yokohama City and are eligible for the following, there is a reduction in usage fee. Please show the necessary documents at the nursery school before the date of use or before use.
※Snacks and lunch fees are not reduced.
※If you cannot return home birth, temporarily return home from abroad, or submit required documents, you will not be eligible.
