Why did I receive a reminder letter even though I made my National Health Insurance premium fund transfer?
Last Updated October 3, 2018
It takes about one to two months from the submission of the National Health Insurance premium fund transfer request form to the fund transfer starts. Until the fund transfer starts, you will need to pay with a payment slip until the fund transfer starts (when the procedure is completed, you will receive a "Notice of Change of Payment Method" (postcard) around the 20th of the transfer start month).
Even if you apply for fund transfer, you will not be able to transfer insurance premiums before the transfer starts.
In addition, if the transfer cannot be made due to insufficient balance, etc., the transfer cannot be made again. A "Dunning Notice" will be sent at a later date, so please pay with the attached payment slip.
