Why did I receive a reminder letter even though I am transferring my National Health Insurance premium?
Last Updated July 26, 2024
It takes about one to two months from the time you submit the National Health Insurance Premium Fund Transfer Request Form to the time the fund transfer starts. It is necessary to pay by payment notice until fund transfer starts (when procedure is completed, "news of payment method change" (postcard) will arrive around the 20th of the transfer start month).
Even if you apply for fund transfer, you will not be able to transfer insurance premiums before the start of transfer.
In addition, if the transfer cannot be made due to insufficient balance, etc., re-transfer is not possible. We will send you a "Dunning Notice" at a later date, so please pay with the attached payment slip.
