Facilities excluded from The Long-term Care Insurance

Those who are 65 years old or older with Address in municipalities and medical insurance between 40 and 65 years old are generally insured by The Long-term Care Insurance.
Those who are in exempt facilities such as facilities for supporting the disabled will not be insured by The Long-term Care Insurance for the time being.

- Physically disabled persons (life care) admitted under the Welfare Law for the Physically Disabled
- Persons with intellectual disabilities admitted pursuant to Article 16, Paragraph 1, Item 2 of the Welfare Law for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities
- Determination of the Comprehensive Support for Persons with Disabilities Act ※Intellectually disabled and mentally ill persons who enter through (life care and facility entrance support)
