If you use the The Long-term Care Insurance Service, Yokohama City will pay the insurance benefits for nursing care expenses temporarily, and then charge the perpetrator on behalf of the victim.

If the consultation between the victim and the perpetrator is concluded, the content of the consultation will take precedence and it may not be possible to charge the perpetrator for nursing care expenses.

For services used after the settlement of the settlement, if Yokohama City has already paid nursing care expenses to the service provider, Yokohama City will provide the insured (victim) with the aim of avoiding double payment. May be requested to refund the expenses.

In addition, if you do not pay the nursing care fee from Yokohama City to the service provider, the amount equivalent to the nursing care cost received by the consultation will not be able to be paid by Yokohama City from insurance, and it may be used entirely at your own expense .
