System for Human Resource Development
Many opportunities to work and grow with peace of mind
After recruitment, there is a system to support in the workplace mainly by trainers (senior staff in charge of training newcomers), and you can be in charge of work while consulting on how to proceed with work and questions and concerns. .
After experiencing a wide range of fields, there are multiple promotion systems, such as the way to create and manage policies as a responsible position (manager), and the way to develop specialized skills and advance as a full-time job (specialist). Opportunities are expanding.
Training system for improving skills
01 As an administrative staff
We conduct various trainings to acquire basic knowledge and improve skills so that they can be aware of being a public servant and fulfill their roles according to their positions.
02 As a professional
Based on OJT (On the Job Training) at the site, we conduct various rank-specific training according to the number of years of experience.
Combining OJT and training, learning how to address issues in daily work during the training, and returning to the workplace to practice them, the knowledge and skills of professionals will be refined.
03 Mechanisms for Capacity Development
Yokohama City has established a career ladder, an index of abilities that you want to acquire as a public health nurse.
By using career ladders, you will be able to understand the status of acquisition of your professional skills and help you set goals for the next step.
In addition, we have menus and systems for capacity development, such as dispatch training to national training institutions, city-specific research presentations, or entering graduate school.
