Q1 Please tell me why you wanted to work as a social worker in Yokohama City.

I majored in the field of public assistance at university and became interested in the welfare system.
Yokohama City has assignments in various fields, including ward offices, entrance facilities, and children's guidance office.
In addition to enhancing my expertise as a social welfare profession, I decided that I could broaden my horizons by cooperating with multiple occupations according to the needs of the field I was involved in, so I decided to become Yokohama City.

I was born in another prefecture and did not have a direct connection to Yokohama City, but at a briefing session during job hunting, I learned that Yokohama has been recruiting social welfare jobs for many years and that there are many seniors. I was fascinated by the fact that there was an environment where I could "learn" while working, and I wanted to work in Yokohama. 。
Q2 What kind of atmosphere do you actually work in?

The current workplace is a small number of workplaces, but it is an environment where you can easily consult and borrow wisdom surrounded by very dependable seniors.
I can care if I have any problems, so it's the first year of the transfer, but I'm actually having fun working. I'm really grateful to the people around me.

children's guidance office has many social workers and works together. There is an emergency response, and it can be difficult or troubled, but it is encouraging to have an environment where you can support each other and work while following and consulting each other.
In addition, other occupations such as clerical, psychological, and medical occupations also belong, so we share opinions from each perspective and work on the work as a team.
Q3 You have experience in two workplaces. What do you feel through the transfer?

Although the environment is different from direct support as a support member of the entrance facility and consultation support as a person in charge of social security, I feel that it is common to be close to each individual's life.
At Matsukaze Gakuen, where I was initially assigned, the team was studying daily how to respect the user's independence and utilize the strengths of the individual.
Even after moving to the Life Support Division, I have been thinking about the other party's strengths from a Strength perspective and utilizing the aid technology cultivated at Matsukaze Gakuen in my current work.

The first life support section provides consultation support for living, from the calculation of protection costs to consultation support related to living, and at the current workplace, determines disability welfare services and provides medical treatment as mental health welfare consultation.
Since the content of the work in charge changes due to the transfer, it is necessary to learn the system etc. and feel difficult.
However, more than that, there are many things that can be used in the current workplace, such as how to respond and work that I learned in my previous workplace, and my learning as a social worker has deepened. I feel once again that changing and adapting to a new environment has led to my growth.

During the transfer, I was assigned to a workplace that was different from the first workplace, and there was anxiety and aspiration that I had to learn work again from scratch.
However, there are many things in common with work attitudes, such as the process of thinking about support from assessments, and I was able to use my experience to work on my work.
You can also use the knowledge you have gained in your previous workplace to think about ways to provide support, so I think that you will increase your withdrawal by experiencing work in various fields through transfer.
Q4 What do you think and value when you work as a social welfare profession in Yokohama?

When I am not confused, I try to consult and share information with others without being ambiguous. In some cases, you may not be able to respond according to your wishes while you are involved in your life and snuggle up to your life. By thinking about a response that is difficult for individuals to judge, each experience can be utilized and captured from a new perspective.
I feel rewarding as a social welfare profession that the experience accumulated through team support will enrich my own support.

In support, I can share my feelings with the other person, and when the situation improves even a little, I feel joy and rewarding. Sometimes it doesn't work, but it's often your own experience by feeding it.
In addition, we always value "reference". I encounter a variety of life through my work. Sometimes you may face difficulties that you have never experienced in your life.
Yes, there is.
I try to accurately estimate the feelings of each person and respond while objectively omitting one's own behavior.

For those involved, I would like to provide support so that they can become “seeds” that act in a slightly better direction.
Especially in children's guidance office, there are times when it is necessary to take measures that are not in line with the will of the individual or family, but when the family thinks about ways to improve the environment surrounding the child, it feels rewarding when the child smiles.
I always realize the importance of continuing to face the other person sincerely at all times, and always looking back on my own way and working on my work while improving myself.
