Promotion of the return of U.S. military facilities in the city and promotion of the use of former sites
In Yokohama, after World War II, the city center and port facilities were requisited over a wide area (maximum requisition area of 1,200 ha), and reconstruction and reconstruction were significantly delayed.
Since then, the city has been working together with citizens, City Counsil, and the government for the early full return of U.S. military facilities and areas will be 150 ha.
