Basic Plan for Use of Sites (July 2011)
The former Tomioka Warehouse area was returned to Japan by the U.S. Army in May 2009. In Motoichi, we set future image of ruins use in "US military facility return ruins use guideline (developed in 2006)" targeting at six U.S. military facilities in the city agreed to return in 2004, and follow these guidelines As a specific approach listed in the "Yokohama City U.S. Army Facility Return Site Use Action Plan (established in 2007, revised in 2011)", we have been examining the use of the former site in the "Yokohama City Return Site Use of the "Yokohama City U.
Based on the progress of the study in the past projects, etc., the basic plan for the use of the former Tomioka Warehouse area has been established as follows.

About sounding-type market research (second time)
Yokohama City is considering the possibility of land use in the former Tomioka Warehouse Area Nosekiba.
In fiscal 2022, we conducted the first sounding-type market survey, and asked a wide range of ideas from businesses, regardless of special requirements, such as utilization content and business methods.
Based on the first content, we conducted a second sounding-type market survey with the aim of determining the use to be guided for full-scale utilization of the target area.

We will conduct a sounding-type market survey (first time) on the contents of utilization and business methods from businesses. For full-scale utilization, we will ask a wide range of ideas regardless of special requirements, such as being interested in partial utilization and participation in planning projects, and will be used as a reference for future utilization studies.
We will publish a summary of the results of the sounding-type market survey (first time) conducted from November 14 to December 23, Reiwa 4.
