Exchange with the joint statement city Abijan Autonomous Region (Côte d'Ivoire)

On Monday, September 11, 2017, Governor Robert Boggle Mambe of Abijan Autonomous Region of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire, visited Yokohama, and with Mayor Hayashi, the two municipalities promoted urban issues resolution and development, promoted the active participation of women, We confirmed that they would share experiences and exchanged opinions in areas such as promoting exchanges for the younger generation, and issued a joint statement on exchange cooperation.
Yokohama is the first time that Abijan has built an intercity relationship with a local government in Japan. We will further strengthen cooperation with Abijang to further strengthen cooperation with Cote d'Ivoire and Africa.
