"The Front of International Peace: The Role of the United Nations and International Career" co-hosted by International Affairs Bureau, Yokohama and Meiji Gakuin University.

In the lecture, two lecturers introduced their backgrounds and backgrounds of becoming a United Nations official through introduction of their backgrounds, and also gave lectures on their work at the United Nations Disarmament Bureau and the United Nations Peace Activity Bureau.
Dr. Kono spoke about the issue of weapons of mass destruction and his activities at the Secretariat of the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva, and Dr. Iketani talked about his experience in peace talks and dispatching Libya, as well as gender in the United Nations.
During the Q & A session, there were a wide range of questions about "required expertise and foreign language skills", "citizen participation in the process of recovery from conflicts", "whether or not family accompany you when overseas assignments", etc. , We received specific answers based on your background and experience in the field.
