About publication of Yokohama specific complex tourist facility setting operation business implementation policy, start of open call for participants of planned setting operation business and publication of proposal summary of offer of additional concept offer

Yokohama City is studying and preparing for the realization of a specific complex tourist facility area (hereinafter referred to as the "IR area") in Yamashita-Futo based on the Act on the Development of Specified Complex Tourist Facilities Area (hereinafter referred to as the "IR Area") as one method to continue to grow and develop in the future even in the event of changes in socio-economic conditions due to the advent of a declining population and the development of a super-aged society.
We have compiled policies on realizing the maintenance of the IR area, such as the significance and goals of the maintenance of the IR area in Yokohama City, the requirements necessary for implementing this project, and how to select the prospective installation and operation business operators, as an implementation policy. Based on the purpose of this implementation policy, we will jointly apply to the government and start a public recruitment (RFP) of private businesses that intend to set up and operate IR facilities. In addition, we will announce the outline of the proposal for recruitment of additional concepts (additional RFC) related to the establishment and operation of a specific complex tourist facility (IR) in Yokohama and Yamashita-Futo.
