Every year, the Urban Development Bureau Urban Design Office holds “History Town Development Seminars” with the aim of making citizens aware of the historical landscape and the appeal of historical buildings.
This year, in cooperation with JIA Kanagawa, in the wake of the relocation of the Yokohama City Hall, we will consider the preservation and utilization of 20th-century architecture, including the use of the former site of the former Yokohama City Hall, "City Development Seminar Utilizing History + JIA Kanagawa Architectural Forum" It will be held.
The project will also be held in collaboration with the exhibition "M meet M" of architects involved in the design of the old and new government buildings, which was announced by the Culture and Tourism Bureau Creative City Promotion Division on October 16, 2020.
