On May 31, 2023, Yokohama Water Co., Ltd. was entrusted with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to manage water resources in Zanzibar, Tanzania, Japan. Taking advantage of Yokohama's technology and know-how, the company will work to strengthen its groundwater resource management capacity and facility operation and maintenance capacity of the Zanzibar Water Corporation.
