About dispatch of emergency water supply staff with damage of 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake (Part 2)

　At the request of the Japan Water Works Association, City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau dispatched an emergency water squad to Himi City, Toyama Prefecture, which was affected by water cuts following the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake. Along with this, we will dispatch a second emergency water supply squad that will be replaced with the first squad.

1 Overview of activities in Ishikawa Prefecture (Second Emergency Water Supply Corps)
　　Activity period: From Sunday, January 7, 2024 to about one week
　　Activities: Emergency water supply by two 4t water vehicle units
　　Dispatched staff: 8 people
　　Destination: Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture or Shika Town

2 Departure Ceremony
　　Date and time: 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 6, 2024
　　Location: City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau Mitsukyo Water Supply Office (553, Futatsubashi-cho, Seya-ku, Yokohama)
　　※After giving an explanation to the temporary staff, we will leave as soon as water vehicle is ready.

3 Others
　　The first emergency water supply squad will move from Toyama Prefecture to Ishikawa Prefecture on Saturday, January 6, and will take over after joining with the second squad.
　　The activity area of the emergency recovery squad dispatched on Friday, January 5 has become Wajima City or Shika Town, Ishikawa Prefecture, the same as the emergency water supply activities.
