In the city of Lirongwe, the demand for water has increased significantly due to population growth, greatly exceeding the amount supplied by the Lirongwe Water Corporation (LWB). In addition, there are many issues such as illegal connections, and in fiscal 2015, the non-revenue water rate reached 36%. A four-year project (2019-2023) was launched with the aim of improving the yield rate.
Based on the plan of this project, LWB will accept trainees for a week starting October 23. During this training, participants will visit Kamiooka Elementary School in Konan Ward, one school and one country with Africa. Please come and visit us!
