At 16:30 on Tuesday, September 10, the Japan Water Works Association Chiba Branch sent the Kanto Regional Branch to Kimitsu City, Chiba Prefecture and Sodegaura City, Chiba Prefecture, which were cut off due to a large-scale power outage following Typhoon No. 15. There was a request to dispatch five water vehicle units. As a result of coordination within the Kanto Regional Branch based on the request, three emergency water supply squads were dispatched from Yokohama City to Kimitsu City and two squads from Kawasaki City to Sodegaura City.
