We suggested cooperation to water supply business of Medan City that was main city of Indonesia to JICA grass roots technology cooperation business (regional activation special frame), and City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau was adopted.
Diffusion rate of water supply of Medan City remains in around 80% of population. In addition, due to shortages of plan and facility for lack and water supply of water supply, there is area where water does not reach though area and water pipe that 24 ration water is not carried out are installed. City of Yokohama, Water Works Bureau cooperates about improvement in ability for Medan Water Works Bureau to supply safe water for 24 hours.
