The Yokohama City Firefighter appointment ceremony and entrance ceremony for Yokohama City adopted in 2022 will be held as follows.
Newly hired staff will be assigned to each fire department after 6 months of basic education in Fire Academy, 6 months of practical education at 18 fire departments in the city, and first-time education over a year.
