In Yokohama City, with the aim of promoting the acceptance of foreign human resources and multicultural coexistence, citizen groups and NPOs will promote mutual understanding between Japanese and foreigners, support the lives of foreign residents, and promote local Japanese language education. Subsidies are issued for activities related to "promotion" and "promotion of the active participation of foreign residents" (Yokohama Multicultural Symbiosis Citizens' Activities Support Project).
This time, there were three applications for the target projects, and as a result of the examination, we decided to support all projects (total of 592,000 yen). Through the business of each organization, we aim to realize a multicultural society rich in diversity and inclusiveness.
