Yokohama Carbon Offset Project Reduced carbon dioxide by approximately 1,927t-CO2 by reduction activities by citizens and businesses!

　Since July 2018, Yokohama has been working on the Yokohama Carbon Offset Project for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games as one of the initiatives aimed at achieving Zero Carbon Yokohama, a decarbonized Yokohama by 2050. This initiative widely calls on citizens and businesses to reduce CO2 emissions equivalent to carbon dioxide (CO2) generated at the tournament.
　The CO2 emissions emitted with the holding of the Games in Yokohama City were reduced to zero due to the reduction of energy conservation efforts by citizens and businesses who applied for this project.
