In the 2021 analysis and evaluation by CDP, an international non-profit organization that conducts environmental assessments, Yokohama City was selected as a "City A List" city, the highest rated city as a local government that tackles environmental issues. A video message from The Mayor of Yokohama Takeharu Yamanaka will be broadcast at a symposium hosted by CDP on December 3rd.
