About greening discussion
Overview
Yokohama City enacted the "Ordinance to Create and Raise Green Environment" in 1973, and is working to preserve green spaces in the city and promote greening.
In revision of September 1, 2004, in conjunction with establishment of "the regulations about adjustment of Yokohama-shi development business", we plan consistency such as area targeted for tree planting and, as well as greening to the ground part We aim to increase the greenery of the city by adopting various greening methods such as walls and walls, and newly targeting building activities of a certain size or more for greening.
