"Authorization" and "Confirmation" to be eligible for benefits under the new system

In order to become a facility eligible for benefits under the new system, "authorization" (Article 34-15 of the Child Welfare Law) after meeting the facilities and operation standards, and "confirmation" that they are eligible for benefits (child and child care) Support Act Article 43).

For details, please see "Authorization" and "Confirmation" (businesses).

Standards for Facilities and Operations under the new system

The government has not yet indicated the standards (authorization standards) for facilities and operation to be eligible for benefits under the new system. Based on the standards indicated by the government as a government ordinance or ministerial ordinance (scheduled during 2013), Yokohama City will determine it as ordinances and rules.

Therefore, it is not possible to judge at this time whether or not childcare facilities in each business establishment that is already operating are eligible for benefits.

We will provide information as appropriate, such as information on national trends and standards, as appropriate.
