“Starting application for registration of Japanese JP Domain Names Using Names of Nursery Schools” (Japan Registry Service Co., Ltd.) (external site)
・Japan Registry Service Co., Ltd.*, which registers and manages JP domain names, will start accepting registration applications for Japanese JP domain names using names such as nursery schools and kindergartens from October 2017. We will inform you that there was a notice to start accepting applications for Japanese JP domain names using nursery schools and kindergartens. For more information, please visit the website of Max Planck Society
Note* Japan Registry Service Co., Ltd.: The only company that registers and manages JP domain names (".jp"). In view of its public nature, the management of ".jp" is defined as a specific domain name telecommunications service under the Telecommunications Business Act.

Based on the Child and Child Care Support Law, from April 1, 2015, installers of specific education and childcare facilities and specific regional childcare providers are required to maintain a business management system such as legal compliance.

Facilities and businesses that are eligible for public expenditure benefits scheduled under the new system are as follows.

In order for facilities and businesses to be positioned as “specific education and childcare facilities” or “specific regional childcare business” that are eligible for public expenditures under the new system, the “authorization” of facilities and businesses based on the Child Welfare Law, etc. It is necessary to receive both "and" confirmation" (Article 31 and 43 of the Child and Child Care Support Act (outside site)) by the Child and Child Care Support Act.
Standards and procedures for "authorization" and "confirmation" are currently undecided. Based on the standards indicated by the government as a Cabinet Order or ministerial ordinance, Yokohama City will determine it as ordinances and rules. The status of the study will be announced on this page as needed.
In addition, it is stipulated that kindergartens and licensed nursery schools that exist at the time of the new system is enforced are "this considered to have been confirmed." （Article 7 and 8 of the Supplementary Provisions of the Child and Child Care Support Act (outside site)）
