What is the periodic reporting system?
The "periodic reporting system" is a system stipulated in Article 12, Paragraph 1 and Paragraph 3 of the Building Standards Law for the purpose of maintaining buildings, etc. in good condition.
According to this rule, owners of buildings designated by the country and Yokohama City (in the case where the owner and manager are different, managers) are required to regularly qualified persons (first-class architects, etc.) There is an obligation to investigate and inspect whether it is in a safe state, and report the results to Yokohama City. For details, see “5 Report Flow and Survey / Inspection Qualifications”.
For related laws and regulations, please refer to “Related Laws, etc.” on the “Download Form List” page.
