4 Cycle and timing of reporting

Period of periodic reporting

Buildings must be submitted once every three years (* 1), and building equipment, fire prevention equipment, elevators and play facilities must be submitted once a year.
In addition, there is no need to submit in the year in which the inspection certificate (based on the provisions of Article 7, Paragraph 5 of the Building Standards Act or Article 7-2, Paragraph 5 of the Act) was issued.
※1: The year in which submission is required for each use of the building is determined. Please check the submission period before submitting.

Period for submitting periodic reports

Owners or managers of buildings subject to periodic reporting should check the following table and make periodic reports within the applicable submission period.

※2: If there are multiple uses in the building and each meets the target requirements, the period for submitting the periodic report shall be based on the main use section.
※3: The scale of the part to be used for each purpose does not meet the target requirements, but if you add them up, only those that meet the target requirements as a multi-purpose building will be specified.

The following figure shows the year in which a report on "building" is required. (Submission is required in the year marked with ○)

<[Important] For those involved in Ryokan Hotels applying for the appropriate mark>

When applying for an appropriate mark grant (renewal) under the Fire Services Act, it is necessary to attach a “Regular Survey Report based on Article 12 of the Building Standards Act” submitted in the latest fiscal year among the fiscal year that requires submission to the Housing and Architecture Bureau. You.
If this year is not the year that requires submission, it is not necessary to conduct a survey of buildings and submit a report to Housing and Architecture Bureau in order to apply for a mark. For details on the timing of submitting periodic reports, please refer to “3. Buildings and elevators subject to periodic reports”.

※4: When you want to change report month, please submit "report of change of report time such as specific buildings targeted for periodic report (word: 18KB)".
   Changes can be made within six months prior to the reporting month.
※5: According to Article 7, Paragraph 2 of the Yokohama City Building Standard Law Enforcement Detailed Regulations, "Inspection is conducted within one month before the periodic report is made."
   In addition, the reporting month is the month in which the inspection certificate is issued.
 
 
Reference number
・For properties that make periodic reports for the first time, it is necessary to obtain a reference number in advance.
・To obtain a reference number, please send the following materials to the equipment staff (kc-setsubi@city.yokohama.jp).
・At a later date, after confirming the materials sent, a reference number will be assigned to the inquiry list (Excel: 34KB) and reply.

Certificate of inspection of elevators

 If you cannot confirm the inspection certificate of the elevator, a reference number will not be assigned.
 
[In the case of concurrent application]
 If the confirmation application of the elevator is applying for a concurrent application at the time of the building confirmation application (such as a confirmation application for building No. 4), please send a certificate of inspection of the building.
 In addition, if it is not possible to judge that the application has been made together with the inspection certificate alone, please also send materials that can be judged to have been applied at the same time.
 If it is not confirmed that the building and the elevator are being inspected at the same time, a reference number will not be assigned.
