4 Report Cycle and Time

Periodic Reporting Period

Buildings need to be submitted once every three years (* 1), and building equipment, fire prevention equipment, elevators and play facilities must be submitted once a year.
In addition, it is not necessary to submit in the year in which a certificate of inspection (according to the provisions of Article 7, Paragraph 5 of the Building Standards Act or Article 7-2, Paragraph 5 of the Act).
※1: The year in which submission is required for each use of the building is determined. Please check the submission period before submitting the application.

Period for submitting periodic reports

Owners such as buildings subject to periodic reports or managers should check the following table and make periodic reports within the applicable presentation period.

※2: If there are multiple uses in the building and each satisfies the target requirements, the period for submitting the periodic report is based on the main use section.

   The submission period as a multi-purpose building will be specified.

When applying for a suitable mark (update) based on the Fire Services Act, it is necessary to attach the "Regular Survey Report Based on Article 12 of the Building Standards Act" submitted in the latest fiscal yearHousing and Architecture Bureau is required. You.
If this year is not a year that requires submission, it is not necessary to conduct a survey of the building to apply for a suitable mark and submit a report to Housing and Architecture Bureau. For details on the timing of submission of the periodic report, please refer to “3. Buildings / Elevators subject to periodic reporting”.
