About grant application of 2024, we start acceptance from April 8, 2024.
The deadline for grant application is scheduled until December 27, 2024.

Target cliffs
Cliffs that fall under the following items are eligible.
- Artificial cliffs such as natural cliffs and retaining walls
- Cliffs where the height from the ground surface exceeds 2 meters or cliffs where roads may be damaged, cliffs exceeding 1 meter above or 2 meters below the road surface
- Cliffs with an inclination angle of 30° or more
- Cliffs that may damage buildings or roads to be used for living due to landslides
Applicable works
Works that fall under the following items are eligible.
- In principle, construction that does not require procedures under the Building Standards Law and the Regulation Law for Residential Land Development
- Construction where the height and position of cliffs do not change

Rock fall protection net construction, wire mesh reinforcement work, flat steel reinforcement work, groundwater removal work | 500,000 yen | |
Removal of additional piles | Removal of additional stacking parts | 1 million yen |
Wire mesh reinforcement work for existing retaining walls, flat steel reinforcement work | 500,000 yen |
※Subsidies may also be issued for other than the above construction methods.
Amount of grant
The amount of the subsidy is 1/2 of the target construction cost or the unit price determined by the city ※The lesser of the amount calculated by (only some construction methods) or the limit (1,000,000 yen or 500,000 yen)
※The unit price per 1 m2 per vertical projection area in FY2024 is as follows.
・Retaining wall construction and waiting retaining wall construction 99,000 yen /㎡
・Cut or embankment work and removal work for additional piles 26,000 yen /㎡
・Law frame construction 78,000 yen /㎡
・Mortar and concrete spraying work 23,000 yen/㎡

Precautions for Use of the System
- When we apply for grant of grant, coordination with Building Disaster Prevention Section cliff is necessary. Please contact us in advance.
- If you have started construction contracts or construction before the grant is decided, you cannot use the subsidy system.
- When we receive grant of grant, it is necessary to have you conclude construction contract with company with headquarters in the city.
- Please submit a completion report by the end of February of the year in which you received the grant decision.
