About the Landslide Prevention Law

The "Law Concerning the Promotion of Sediment Disaster Prevention Measures in Sediment Disaster Warning Areas (Landslide Prevention Law)" refers to the danger of sediment-related disasters to protect the lives of the people from sediment-related disasters. It is intended to promote software measures such as maintenance of the system, restrictions on certain development activities, structural regulation of buildings, and promotion of relocation of existing houses.

What is the earth and sand disaster warning area (yellow zone)
It is an area where it is recognized that there is a risk of causing harm to the life or body of residents when steep slopes collapse, etc., and the danger is known and evacuation system is maintained.
What is the landslide disaster special caution area (red zone)?
In areas where it is recognized that there is a risk of causing significant harm to the life or body of residents when steep slopes collapse of steep slopes occurs, permission system for specific development activities, structural regulation of buildings Etc. are performed.
