Procedures for Medical Corporations

Notice

〇 About reporting system pertaining to electronic notification of business reports (financial settlement report) of medical corporation and management information (after April 1, 2025)
From April 2025, the electronic submission method of the medical corporation's business report (financial settlement report) and business status report will be changed from the current system (G-MIS) to (Germany) Welfare and Medical Organization on WAMNET. Transfer to a new system. For details, please refer to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare website (outside site).

〇 Change in postage (from October 1, 2024)
 When mailing an application / notification, please note that if the postage is insufficient, the mail will be returned to the sender.
 In addition, if you enclose a reply envelope (with a stamp) for sending a copy of the application / notification, etc., the reply envelope sent from this section after October 1 that is expected to have a shortage of postage Please note that it will be returned with the display of "Payee for the shortage".
 Please note that the old letter pack cannot be sent without a stamp for the difference, so be sure to enclose the stamp for the difference.

〇 Report on the management status of medical corporations
 With the revision of the Medical Law, a new system for investigating and analyzing information on medical corporations was implemented, and apart from business reports, it became mandatory to report management information for each hospital and clinics established by medical corporations.
 For details, please refer to the report on the management status of medical corporations.

〇 About revision of business report style
 From August 1, 2023, the style of the business report has been revised (addition of the entry column for medical institution code and nursing care establishment number), so please submit it in the latest style. If submitted in the old format after Monday, January 15, 2024, it will be impossible for the system to incorporate it into the database, so we will ask you to replace it with the new format.
 In the case of submission in paper, please submit in new style (outside site). Thank you very much for your cooperation.

〇 Notice of Revision of seal Signatures in Procedures Performed by Medical Corporations
From March 1, 2021, we reviewed some of the procedures carried out by medical corporations in seal.
Please refer to the seal Decommissioning List (PDF: 122KB) for procedures that no longer require the signature of seal.

About browsing of financial statements of medical corporations

We can read about business reports, auditor audit reports (financial settlement report) and articles of incorporation or contribution act submitted by medical corporation of Yokohama-shi jurisdiction. (Article 52, Paragraph 2 of the Medical Law)
Materials are distributed on DVD-ROM to the Yokohama City Citizen Information Center (3rd floor of the new city hall) for viewing the financial statements of medical corporations. It can also be viewed by electronic application.
