Report on the management status of medical corporations

1 Overview
As a result of the revision of the Medical Law, a new system for investigating and analyzing information on medical corporations was enforced on August 1, 2023, and it became mandatory to report management information for each hospital and clinics established by medical corporations separately from the business report.

2 Targets and Submission Period
Reported: All medical institutions that open hospitals or clinics, whose fiscal year ends after August 2023, except for the Special Taxation Measures Law (Act of 1957).

Date of submission: Within three months after the end of each fiscal year (however, it must be audited by a certified public accountant or an audit corporation pursuant to Article 51, Paragraph 5 of the Medical Act.

3 Report Form
Download the applicable form from the website of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare

If you are not eligible for the report due to the application of the four-stage tax system, you will be notified in Form 3.

4 Submission method
Please report in one of the following ways.
(1) Download the form from the Medical Institution Administrative Information Support System (G-MIS), fill it out, and upload it to G-MIS.
(2) Submitted in writing
