Do you have a fire drills? Do you know the training in advance?

If a fire breaks out, can you take action right away?
Any building can cause a fire in any building.
In the event of an emergency, conduct training on reporting, fire extinguishing, and evacuation so that you can take action immediately.

What is fire drills?

  • Buildings that require the appointment of fire protection managers are obliged to carry out fire drills.
  • Buildings where an unspecified number of people enter and exit, such as restaurants and retail stores, are obliged to conduct training at least twice a year and to inform the training in advance.

Prior notice of training

In buildings where an unspecified number of people enter and leave, it is necessary to contact the fire department in charge before training.

①Online contact

You can easily contact the fire department by entering the information on the "fire drills Report Form".
※ We will not be able to reply to a copy, so if necessary, use the method in 2.

②Contact the fire department directly

About main report communication method (please refer to each fire department for details.)
Telephone receptionPlease contact each fire department's Prevention Section. We will accept it over the phone, so we cannot prepare a copy of the receipt.
Service reception deskPlease prepare two copies of the same fire drills implementation sheet and bring it to the fire department. I'll return a copy of the copy with the reception stamp. If you do not need a copy, one copy is acceptable.
Fax reception desk   Please send the fire drills sheet to the fire department. In addition, please note that you can accept, but you will not be able to reply.
Mail reception deskIf you enclose two copies of the fire drills sheet and a reply envelope with a stamp, we will return a copy. If you do not need a copy, only one copy is acceptable.

Reports and contact information will be sent to each ward fire department. We may not be able to accept your report to the Fire Bureau Prevention Section.

For those who live in apartments

In condominiums, it is very important for residents to implement and participate in fire drills.
In addition, a system to certify condominiums that have implemented disaster prevention measures as “Yokohama Disaster Prevention Capacity Condominiums”
We have established an "Adominium Management Appropriate Evaluation System," which evaluates the management status of condominiums and improve management, management, and asset value.
In order to utilize these systems, it is necessary to conduct firefighting (disaster prevention) training.
When the fire drills is implemented, the fire drills Execution Sheet to record fire drills.
Please save it as a document to receive certification and evaluation.
