Ignition of clothes
Last Updated August 19, 2024
Let's be careful about igniting clothes
The burning of flames to the clothes you are wearing during cooking, etc. is called "clothing ignition."
If flames burn on clothing, the likelihood of burn injury is extremely high.
To prevent clothing ignition
- When cooking, do not wear loose clothes or clothes with wide sleeves.
- Do not place cooking utensils or seasonings in the back of the stove.
- Adjust to appropriate thermal power so that flames do not protrude from the bottom of a pot.
- Use a flame-proof apron or arm cover that is hard to ignite even when fire comes in touch.
If the clothes are ignited
- Don't panic, calm down and pour water.
- Let's erase it with a towel.
- If you can't reach your back, etc., fall on the spot and roll left and right.
⚠ If you run around in a hurry, the flame will increase and it is dangerous!⚠
