Training on First Aid

Oh Only those who live, work, or attend school (junior high school students and above) in Yokohama City are eligible for the course.

• Ordinary lifesaving course I (3 hours course mainly on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED usage for adults)
• Ordinary lifesaving course III (3-hour course focusing on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and AED usage for children, infants and newborns)
• Advanced lifesaving training (8-hour training to learn how to manage the injured, fix vice-child, treat burns, and transport in addition to ordinary lifesaving training)
• Introductory lifesaving course (90- or 45-minute training mainly on chest compressions and how to use AED)
• First Aid Dissemination Training (Three-day training to train leaders of ordinary lifesaving training for employees such as offices. Participants of first aid spreaders are those who have a spread mother in Yokohama City. )

[Payment of teaching materials]
　Please pay the teaching materials fee for those who take the course by cash or paypay at the reception desk on the day (in the case of payment in cash, please prepare so that there is no change.) 。
[Notes]
・If you have a fever or poor physical condition, please cancel your participation.
・When wearing a mask during the course, it is basically left to the individual's judgment.
If a specific infectious disease is spreading significantly, you may be asked to wear an appropriate mask temporarily.
・To prevent infection, artificial respiration is limited to operation and no exhalation is performed. Other practical skills may be limited to exhibition only.
・Please disinfect your hands before practical skills and cooperate with the disinfection of dolls and AEDs.

When renewing the certification, please apply for a certificate of Yokohama City before attending the re-training.

The application method is as follows.
①Entry of the eleventh style "first aid spreader authorization application" (word: 18KB)
②Preparation of copy (front and back) of extension worker certificate acquired in other cities
③Enclosed 1 and 2 above and mailed to the Fire Bureau Emergency Guidance Division

※Please note that applications cannot be accepted if three years have passed since the certification date or the retraining date.

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation for people with cardiopulmonary arrest was previously different between adults and children, but now they are unified. Originally, it is desirable to change the method according to age and cause, but it is difficult to remember and use each method properly, and it is not always possible to identify the age and cause of cardiopulmonary arrest immediately . By the fine differences, it was unified that "I can't do anything" is the worst thing.
However, it is recommended that occupations (nursery teachers, kindergartens / school teachers) and parents who have many opportunities to interact with small children learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation optimized for children. Lifesaving course III is a course to learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation optimized for children.
Also, if you do not have time to take regular lifesaving courses or advanced lifesaving courses due to time constraints, etc., why not take the lifesaving introductory course, which is a course specializing in chest compressions and how to use AED?
