Authorized nursery school
It is a private and municipal nursery school that satisfies the national setting standards for capacity, facilities, and staff of nursery teachers. After applying to the local government where you live and receive the certification of the need for childcare, we will use the facilities determined through adjustments between each facility and the local government. Childcare fees are determined by the municipality according to the amount of municipal tax.

To use it
Applications for residents of Aoba Ward are accepted at the Aoba Ward Office Children and Families Support Division in principle.
During the primary application period for admission application in April of the following year (usually mid-October to early November), please apply by mail to the Certification and Use Adjustment Office.
If you plan to apply from outside Yokohama city, please consult with your local government.
Prepare required documents during the prescribed period and apply to the ward office, Children and Families Support Division.
For the application period, please refer to pages 10-12 for nursery schools, etc., and pages 16-18 for required documents.
Among those who have applied, we will guide you through the facilities decided after making adjustments between each facility and the local government.

Required certification
・Accreditation of Article 19 No.3 of the Act
・Authorization of Article 19-2 of the Act for 3 years and older
Certification can be obtained at the same time as applying for admission, so special procedures are not required if you apply for admission.
Charges
Usage fees, staple food costs (rice, bread, etc.), side meal costs (side dishes, snacks), and other expenses are required.

※Classes will be determined based on their age as of April 2.
Example: 3-year-old class → From April 2 this year to April 1 of the following year, children who have their 4th birthday are enrolled.

You can apply without visiting, but it is highly recommended that you visit because it is a facility that your child will go every day for several years.

At the time of application, please fill in the use application form in the same way as nursery school in ward.

Childcare fees will be free from April following the age of three.
