Certified child institution (childcare use)
It is a facility that combines the roles of a kindergarten and a nursery school, and you can choose to use it as a kindergarten (educational use) or as a nursery school (childcare use) according to the situation of your home. In childcare use, you can take care of it in a long period of time, like a nursery school, and during the day you can receive education with elementary school studenｔ in the kindergarten (educational use). In the use of childcare, parents need to fall under the “reasons requiring childcare” and must be certified for childcare. There is also the advantage that you can continue to go to the same garden.

To use it
Applications for residents of Aomoriha Ward are accepted at the Aomoriba Ward Office Children and Family Support Section in principle.
During the first application period for the application for admission in April of the following year (usually mid-October to early November), please apply by mail to the Certification and Use Adjustment Office.
If you are planning to apply from outside Yokohama City, please consult with your self-government.
Prepare required documents during the prescribed period and apply to the ward office, Children and Families Support Division.
For the application period, please refer to pages 10-12 for nursery schools, etc., and pages 16-18 for required documents.
Among those who have applied, we will guide you through the facilities decided after making adjustments between each facility and the local government.

Required certification
・Accreditation of Article 19 No.3 of the Act
・Authorization of Article 19-2 of the Act for 3 years and older
Certification can be obtained at the same time as applying for admission, so special procedures are not required if you apply for admission.
Charges
Usage fees, staple food costs (rice, bread, etc.), side meal costs (side dishes, snacks), and other expenses are required.

Example: 3-year-old class → From April 2 this year to April 1 of the following year, there are children who will reach their 4th birthday.
