In order to provide childcare and educational services required depending on the situation at home, determine the parent's "reasons requiring childcare" and "childcare required amount (= time when childcare can be received)" Is what you do.

Certification category
There are four categories of certification, and the required certification categories are determined according to the facilities used (kindergartens, nursery schools, certified children's schools, etc.).

Reasons for needing childcare and the amount of childcare required
If you wish to obtain childcare certification (Article 19 No. 2 / No. 3 of the Act, Article 30-4 No. 2 / No. 3 of the Act), it is necessary to fall under any of the "reasons requiring childcare" there is.
In addition, the necessity of childcare is determined for the main reasons.
In addition, according to the required amount of childcare, it is divided into "standard daycare hours (11 hours a day)" and "short childcare hours (8 hours a day)".
The required amount of childcare will be determined in consideration of multiple reasons, so if there are multiple reasons, please consult the ward office (documents to prove each of multiple reasons are required).
If you exceed the required time for childcare, it will be extended childcare.
