What is the Disaster Prevention License Leader?
Yokohama City has designated elementary and junior high schools in evacuation shelter, and is positioned as a place for evacuation of residents affected by the disaster and as a base for rescue and rescue activities by residents.
As the core human resources responsible for the establishment and operation of the evacuation shelter, we have certified instructors who take training in the handling of living equipment and rescue equipment.

This section introduces the handling of equipment and materials in evacuation shelter.
In fiscal 2021, we produced a video of "Kerosene furnace set" and "Generators (gasoline type)" and "underground water tank for disasters" in 2022.
Please use this in evacuation shelter Training and Steering Committee.

What is the Yokohama Disaster Prevention Licensing Aoba Liaison Committee?
Organized by "Yokohama Disaster Prevention License Leader" living in Aoba Ward, formed with the aim of minimizing damage in the event of a major earthquake or the like and strengthening cooperation between the disaster prevention license leader and evacuation shelter in the ward.
Major activities include follow-up workshops to improve technical skills and acquire knowledge of license leaders. In addition to providing guidance to local residents on handling disaster prevention equipment and materials in training at each evacuation shelter.
