If you get injured or sick, select a medical institution according to the degree of urgency and the severity of symptoms.
We will accept injured and others mainly for severely ill patients who are unable to respond to medical care provided by cooperating hospitals and clinics.

If an earthquake with a seismic intensity of less than 6 is observed in Aoba Ward, with the cooperation of the evacuation shelter Steering Committee and medical organizations, we will establish a regional fixed-point medical center that provides emergency medical care for minor injuries.

In addition to "fixed-point medical care" in which medical needs are grasped and medical treatment is fixed, emergency medical care is provided by visiting local fixed-point medical centers to nearby evacuation shelter.
In the event of the Great East Japan Earthquake, Aoba Ward is recruiting qualified nurses, associate nurses, public health nurses, and midwives who can engage in relief activities in injured at fixed-point medical centers (12 locations in the ward).
- What is "Y Nurse"?
It is a nursing profession working as a "medical rescue squad" based in disaster preparedness plan, Yokohama, with pre-registered doctors, pharmacists, and city officials at the time of the Great East Japan Earthquake. As activity contents, we perform emergency medical care mainly for mildly ill people in local fixed-point medical treatment bases in ward.
※In disaster preparedness plan, Aoba Ward, if an earthquake with a seismic intensity of less than 6 is observed in Aoba Ward, we will provide fixed-point medical treatment at 12 evacuation shelter locations in the ward. In addition, we will conduct on-site consultations from local fixed-point medical centers to other evacuation shelter.
