About schedule of disaster prevention information transmission system training for Aoba Ward (FY2024)

In September 2016, Aoba Ward began operating the Aoba Ward Disaster Prevention Information System. This system uses telephone and dedicated radios to communicate information to the Neighborhood Association Neighborhood Associations and the evacuation shelter Steering Committee.
In fiscal 2024, we will also conduct training on the Aoba Ward Disaster Prevention Information Transmission System as follows.

Participants in this system training
1.Dedicated Disaster Prevention Radio Manager
2.Those who are registered in the telephone system upon application from Neighborhood Association, Neighborhood Associations, evacuation shelter, etc.
Training content
1 Dedicated disaster prevention radio training (those who have registered only the telephone system are not eligible)
(1) During training, refer to “How to handle dedicated disaster prevention radio” in the reference materials at the bottom of this page, and connect the dedicated disaster prevention radio to the power source.
(2) When the dedicated disaster prevention radio is automatically activated, a loud voice is transmitted from the radio. Also, after training, the radio is automatically turned off.
(3) If you can receive the broadcast of the dedicated disaster prevention radio, please respond to that effect by telephone system. (If you are unable to stay near the dedicated disaster prevention radio during the training time, please respond to that effect by telephone system.)
2 Telephone system training
(1) You will receive an automatic voice call from 050-3188-8400.
(2) Please answer using the telephone system that you do not manage the dedicated disaster prevention radio.
(3) If you can not answer the phone call, please call back and send it and respond according to the guidance in the voice guidance.

Q. What should I do if I can't answer the phone during training and I can't answer about the radio reception status?
A. If you call the incoming number again, you can respond according to the automatic voice.
Q. If I have a radio, but the training broadcast did not play?
A. Please answer by phone that you did not hear the radio during the training according to the automatic voice.
Q. How do I use information when I receive information by radio or telephone?
A. An example is a method of communicating information via a communication network such as Neighborhood Association. In the event of a disaster, I brought a radio to evacuation sites.
It is also possible to obtain information from the ward office where people are gathered and use it for evacuation behavior.
