Hayabuchi Junior High School x Exchange of the Republic of Angola @ Continuing MY Plaza
On Thursday, March 4, Hayabuchi Junior High School held a mask presentation ceremony for the “Project to Deliver Masks to the Republic of Angola” at Tsuzuki Multicultural and Youth Exchange Plaza (Continued MY Plaza). .
The presentation ceremony began with seven groups of Hayabuchi Junior High School students who participated in the UNIQLO Clothing Power Project and learned about the SDGs, thinking about what they could do to support UNIQLO's activities, creating posters together and delivering them to the UNIQLO Kohoku Tokyu Store, and receiving an AIRism mask from UNIQLO to participate in the project.
With the desire to "deliver the remaining 88 masks we received to countries in need," we decided to deliver masks to the country in return to the mural donated by the Republic of Angola to the Center-Kita Station.
The presentation ceremony was attended by five third-year students from seven groups (special support classes), and everyone worked together, including moderators and greetings. From the Embassy of Angola, Ambassador to Japan Louis Orland Shaviel and Counsellor Ameria Fernandez, came to see the embassy staff, and thank you and the mask you received will be delivered to the school where children who need assistance from their own country.
After the presentation ceremony, an exchange meeting was held. We enjoyed the piano performance gifts from the students and the creative games prepared for this day, divided into teams. Both the students and the guests were very excited, and it was a very peaceful meeting.
Finally, the ambassador said, "If the situation converges, please come to the embassy. Let's take time to interact slowly. "A gift was handed to each person.
"Our dream has come true. Please continue to get along with Tsuzuki Ward ." The students who worked together to carry out the project showed a fulfilling smile.
