A letter of appreciation was presented for the long-standing activities of the volunteer group "Let's try".

　A letter of appreciation presentation ceremony was held on March 8, 2021 for the volunteer group "Let's try it", which has been engaged in Hama Road supporter activities for many years.

　In fiscal 2003, a volunteer group called "Let's Try", which has been voluntarily engaged in weeding and cleaning activities around the bus rotary at Center Minami Station, concluded a memorandum of understanding with Public Works Office Tsuzuki as the first supporter of Hama Road Supporter experimental project,Public Works Office Tsuzuki.

　For the next 17 years, he has been cleaning once a month and has contributed to the beautification of the city with the idea of "Center Minami Station, which is used by many inhabitants, to a beautiful station without garbage." I participated in a panel exhibition at Public Works Office Tsuzuki every year to introduce my activities, and also accepted volunteers from junior high school students to clean up together.

　In a talk with Mayor Nakano,Public Works Office Nakazawa, and Deputy Director Tabata following the presentation of the letter of appreciation, the secrets of the characteristic group names and (the phrase of the ward's lifelong learning course comes from!) He introduced the secrets that he has been active for a long time. It was said that the activities continued while forgetting the time and doing what they wanted to do together, maintaining their health and communicating with each other. . It was impressive that the two people who came on behalf of the group repeatedly said, "It was fun in various ways" and "It was a very good meeting."

　Since the whole member has become older, his activities as Hama Road Supporter are a break, but he wants to gather about once a month and do something in the future. The schedule for March has already been decided! I hope that you will continue to enjoy your activities for a long time while paying attention to your body.
